Client Challenge 

LA International has partnered with a leading British multinational telecommunications organisation for nearly two decades, supporting their operations across multiple sectors, including defence and national security. 

In 2020, the client streamlined their supply chain to reduce costs and improve recruitment efficiency. Following a competitive PSL-wide review, LA International was selected as a Tier 1 Partner. 

In 2021, the client aimed to consolidate all Named Worker/Payroll services under a single provider to enhance compliance, reduce management overhead, and achieve further cost savings. LA International was again selected after a rigorous tender process involving five Tier 1 suppliers. 

 

Our Solution 

To meet the client’s evolving needs, we established a dedicated Account Management Team led by a Senior Account Manager with over a decade of experience in high-volume contingent workforce solutions. The team is supported by our Flexible Resource and Academy Team, ensuring scalability and responsiveness to demand spikes. 

Our team manages the full recruitment lifecycle: 

  • Advertising roles and sourcing candidates from our database of over 1 million profiles 
  • Conducting interviews and coordinating with client hiring managers 
  • Supporting onboarding and providing ongoing candidate care 

We operate under a robust SLA framework with rigorous KPIs, including: 

  • CV response times 
  • Submission-to-interview and interview-to-placement ratios 
  • Rate card compliance 
  • Invoice accuracy 
  • Time-to-hire metrics 

Performance is reviewed monthly with the client to ensure continuous improvement. 

 

Transition Programme 

To support the payroll consolidation initiative, we provided a security-cleared Transition Project Manager (TPM) and PMO at no additional cost. The TPM conducted a comprehensive audit of suppliers and resources, extracting key data from the vendor management system and developing a phased transition plan with clear milestones, responsibilities, and risk management. 

Communication was central to the transition. Our team met with every supplier and resource (virtually, due to COVID-19) to introduce LA International, clarify processes, and establish governance protocols.
