Client Challenge
Since its inception in 2017, LA International has supported this American multinational IT services and consulting company, becoming their leading provider of security-cleared talent for a key defence account.
In 2024, the client engaged us to deliver a Statement of Work (SOW) supporting several critical defence programmes. This required the rapid deployment of large volumes of security-cleared technical specialists within tight timescales and across geographically challenging locations.
Key challenges included:
- Latency in internal demand approval processes
- Delays caused by individual resource approvals
- Difficulty sourcing the right talent quickly
- Scarcity of SC/DV-cleared candidates in remote areas
Our Solution
We collaborated closely with the client to co-design a scalable, agile solution that addressed these challenges head-on. Central to this was the creation of a Statement of Work capability model, enabling the client to call off defined capabilities under a single PO - dramatically accelerating the approval and engagement process.
Key elements of our solution included:
- Robust governance model with enhanced service levels, reporting, and regular reviews
- Demand planning with client stakeholders to forecast future needs
- Pre-sourcing and bench-building of deployment-ready specialists at no cost or obligation
- Rigorous evaluation to ensure alignment with technical and cultural requirements
- Sponsored security clearances to reduce costs and expand talent availability
- Enhanced performance monitoring to ensure productivity and value for money
- Executive-level oversight, including board-level representation at strategic reviews
Value Delivered
Our tailored solution delivered measurable improvements in service and efficiency:
- Reduced engagement timescales from 120 days to just 28 days
- SC sponsorships completed in under 15 working days, accelerating deployment
- Created a “one team” culture, integrating seamlessly with the client’s permanent staff
